Moving Forward with Health Reform
Even before federal health reform passed, Oregon had already started working on reform efforts at the state level. Many of these reforms were part of House Bill 2009 and 2116, passed in 2009.

Oregon is poised to make significant inroads in reforming the health care delivery system, improving quality, and containing health care costs increases. The state has already taken some notable first steps.
